I am a traditional oil painter and my work would be described as Romantic or Realism. I paint in my home located outside of Soledad in the Mission District in Monterey County California. My easel is set up near a large window overlooking the Santa Lucia foothills. Most of the landscapes I paint are of local scenes near our farming community. I have exhibited paintings at the Salinas Adult School, Morro Bay Art Gallery and the Clovis Art Association. I have been the featured artist at Sol Treasures Gallery in King City. I was commissioned to paint the poster for the 2009 California Rodeo Association in Salinas. In 2010, I was commissioned to paint a large oil painting depicting the founding of the Mission Nuestra Senora de la Soledad. The painting is part of their permanent museum collection. Also in 2010, a painting depicting cattle along the Santa Lucia foothills was selected to be sent to Salinas's Sister City in Japan. I am also affiliated with the Salinas Valley Art Association.
